LED

If the LED pin is configured.

  • Short, fast blinks (one per second) – the router is connecting to a network.
  • Short, long blinks (one per 4 seconds) – normal operations.
  • Three short blinks – the router cannot send a report to a coordinator.

Pairing

Flash firmware and permit joining to a network on your coordinator.

Re-pairing or reset to factory defaults

Power on, wait 2 seconds, power off, repeat this cycle three times.

If you configured the GPIO or “External wake-up” button on “Input 1”, click and hold the button for 10 seconds. The “Switch” mode for that button should be off.

hi !
with the “external wake up” wich value should i use for “bind command” ?
if a simple button is used on a PIN, i suppose i’ve to choose “pull-up” ?

The “external wake up” pin does not send commands to a bound device. It just wakes up the device, and it sends the regular periodic report.

In case of RF-STAR module RF-BM-2652P2 the chip INPUT 1 is not exposed outside and is in fact not available. How do I implement the pairing button in that module ?

Please note that you should define a logical “Input 1” in the configuration, but you can assign any physical pin.

my purpose is the “external wake up” on PIN1 to force à pairing – so i’ve only to choose a “pull-up” ?

The pull resistor type depends on your schematic. In most cases, the internal pull-up resistor is enough.

Hello,
Suggestion/Wish:
Add an option to disable repairing using “Power on, wait 2 seconds, power off, repeat this cycle three times.”.
I had to repair my 3 devices after a power outage.
Thanks.

    Hello,
Hmmm. It is a strange or rare power outage with this scenario.
